This is the overdrive that I've waited on. I'm not a high gain metal player, just a guy wanting to here balance and sustain to express my playing style. I use it in multiple ways and I find it very versatile and warm. Great pedal!!!
Wow! I can play everything on this incredible pedal. It has been very satisfying to play my Meshuggah favorites ("Born In Dissonance" and "Pravus") and to have them sound heavier than before while preserving all clarity, but in the past few days I have also been really pleasantly surprised at how great this pedal sounds when playing Rush ("Tom Sawyer" and "Limelight"). The controls are simple, but effective, and I love changing my settings when I switch between different guitars to make all of my guitars come alive in different ways. I will be buying another one as soon as possible since I just spilt water on mine and I think I might have ruined it: Destroy, Erase, Feel Very Sad. :(
Using the Fourteen with a Mesa Dual rec multiwatt, Diezel Herbert Mk3 and other high gain amps. The Fortin Fourteen brings the amps to life. You can feel it in your fingers. Highly recommend this amazing pedal!
My experience of the Meshuggah tone was through the Neural Dsp Fortin Nameless Suite plugin.
Can’t afford the real thing.
When the preamp was released, I got it.
It mirrors the plug in and love the tone. There’s no equal for grinding rhythm chunky, in your face.
I’m using it and recording with it. I use both high and low gain. The sound is unmistakable.
Great preamp! Works very well with different IRs
Love it!!
The Fourteen is awesome! Always regretted selling my Hex Drive but now I have one and more!!
