Meshuggah’s legendary guitarist Fredrik Thordendal’s signature 33® pedal is a sonic detonation tool that will transform any gain fueled amplifier into an unrelenting wrecking ball of metal!
At Fortin, we are renowned for chasing only the greatest metal tones imaginable. We have nothing short of lazer focus to develop the most crushing modern guitar tones, tones that are worthy of an artist like Fredrik - to make a pedal he can proudly put his name to.
Through countless hours of research, design, development, prototyping, sampling, planning, reviewing and almost endless tweaking, we are proud to present the Fredrik Thordendal signature 33® pedal!
The mental control: Increase this to drive the front end of your amp harder. The more you increase it, the more your tone will start to jump out of your amp. Don’t be afraid to tweak the amp controls when your amp is reactng the way you want it to - with this level of boost, sneaky frequencies and harmonics may start to appear... make your sound your own!

Much More Satisfying Than Expected!
It brought back the amp’s aggressiveness far beyond my expectations. Since the Mini 33 isn’t available in Korea, I had to order it from overseas, even with the customs duties and expensive shipping—but I have absolutely no regrets!
I own countless boost pedals commonly used by guitarists, but none have given me the level of satisfaction that the Mini 33 has. The subtle difference that sets the Mini 33 apart from other boost pedals made it more than worth the money.

The Missing Piece!
I’ve been searching for the perfect drive to take my Mesa Tremoverb (part of the Dual Rec family) into a heavier, more modern metal direction. After some of the more common tries (Maxons), this instantly pushed and tightened the Dual Rec into what I was looking for! As a bonus, one knob rules them all, and I set mine at about 1 o’clock, nothing more needed. There is a nice metallic bite to the tone, so if you’re chasing a Meshuggah sound, this is worth Thordendal’s namesake. I can also get anywhere from Linkin’ Park to SYL tones as well. Buying an 8 string soon, and this has inspired me to keep this amp as a starting point. The Mini 33 has breathed new life into my old rig and setup, and I couldn’t be happier.

Great clean boost pedal. Records well thru an amp and direct to a mixing board
They are, the only difference is the physical size!
What do the switch and the Jack on the side do?
We think that you may only want to use the 33 on only one channel of your amp. All you have to do is plug a cable from the side jack to the channel changer on the your amp, and when you turn the 33 on or off the channel on your amp will change. The switch is to change the polarity so you can decide which channel you want to have the 33 on!
