Warranty/Return/Refund/Policy

PREORDERS
Full payment is required for all pre-orders. No refunds will be issued for pre-ordered products.

RETURNS
Product returns are only accepted within five (5) days of receipt of goods with a FORTIN issued RMA number that is accompanied with original sales receipt. RMA numbers can be acquired by emailing info@fortinamps.com with your request. There will be a 25% re-stocking fee for all returned goods. Returns must be received in the condition they were received in the original packaging with all contents. Any missing items will be deducted from your credited total. No RMA numbers will be issued and returns will not be permitted after five days of receipt. This excludes preorder product runs, limited editions, custom ordered products and all amplifiers.

REFUNDS
Refunds will be issued once your return has been received and inspected. You will be notified by email of the receipt of the goods and again with the status of the refund after inspection. If approved your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days. Please note that there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. This excludes preorder product runs, limited editions, modifications, repairs, custom ordered products, shipping/customs charges, amplifiers are not refundable. If the refund has not been received within this period, please contact info@fortinamps.com

EXCHANGES
Exchanges are at the sole discretion of FORTIN and if offered are only for defective products. Email info@fortinamps.com for a RMA number and address for the return. Exchanges will be sent to the same address as the original order.

WARRANTY
FORTIN offers a limited/non-transferable warranty on products effective one year from original purchase date. Fifteen-day (15) warranty on tubes. Ninety-day( 90) warranty on speakers and transformers. Covers defects in the materials and/or workmanship of your product. RMA numbers are required for all returns. RMA numbers and shipping instructions can be acquired by emailing info@fortinamps.com with your request. All other repairs and support will be billed at a specified hourly rate with a minimum one-hour bench time plus all shipping costs. Rates vary by product type and model. If the returned product is not repairable and under warranty we reserve the right to provide a refund or a replacement which may or may not be a reconditioned product. If we issue a refund, it will be for the cost of the product only (shipping, customs fees not included). All repairs and returns must be shipped pre-paid by the customer. Warranty repairs after service will be returned at FORTIN’s expense, excluding amplifiers. Non-warranty repairs will be shipped at the product owners expense and invoiced with the repair costs. Repair charges must be paid within 60 days completion or it becomes property of Fortin Amplification. Shipping method of products for repair or warranty to FORTIN is solely at the owner of the products discretion. FORTIN is not responsible to the loss or damage of these shipments and strongly advises insuring the package and using a method that provides tracking capabilities.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Damage caused by negligence, modification, improper use, incorrect mains voltages, malicious intent/use or general wear and tear. Damage caused during transportation of the product. Damage caused by repair or service carried out by persons/company not authorized by FORTIN. A Product with a serial number which has been defaced or removed. A Product which was not purchased from FORTIN or one of our authorized re-sellers. Unauthorized return shipping and customs fees costs. Return shipping for warranty service for address outside of North America. All products and repairs shipments are FOB origin, freight collect.
