The Hydra is the perfect midi controler I needed in a reasonable footprint.
The 8 switches give me full access to my Darkglass ADAM’s 6 preset bank (only 3 are available via the pedal footswitches) + mute and tuner.
Plus, it’s built like a tank.
A 7 pin cable allows us to put the power cable within the midi lead itself. If the product you want to control accommodates this system, for example the Evil Pumpkin does, you do not need to have a separate power supply for the Hydra
