Meshuggah’s legendary guitarist Fredrik Thordendal’s signature 33® pedal is a sonic detonation tool that will transform any gain fueled amplifier into an unrelenting wrecking ball of metal!
At Fortin, we are renowned for chasing only the greatest metal tones imaginable. We have nothing short of lazer focus to develop the most crushing modern guitar tones, tones that are worthy of an artist like Fredrik - to make a pedal he can proudly put his name to.
Through countless hours of research, design, development, prototyping, sampling, planning, reviewing and almost endless tweaking, we are proud to present the Fredrik Thordendal signature 33® pedal!
The mental control: Increase this to drive the front end of your amp harder. The more you increase it, the more your tone will start to jump out of your amp. Don’t be afraid to tweak the amp controls when your amp is reactng the way you want it to - with this level of boost, sneaky frequencies and harmonics may start to appear... make your sound your own!
Built in U.S.A.;
9vDC or center pin negative (fully regulated) external adapter/power supply or battery (not included);

No other pedal will tighten up your sound like this thing and the sweep on the knob is perfect. I could not be more satisfied if you have an amp that has a lot of low end is out of control, look no further!! A ton of gain on tap as well, sustain and saturation.

Small but packs a big punch
I’ve owned a clone & it was no where near to the results I get from the Fortin Mini33. I sold my clone & kept my tone with Fortin as it produces a better sound. It has more bass & midrange frequencies that get that “modern tone” while the other clone only got my tone to the early 2000’s & the bands that where popular then. This is definitely staying on my pedalboard. I highly recommend buying one

Great boost!
This gives a great tone for metal and it’s so simple to use. No messing with a bunch of knobs. Just set the volume and forget it. I love it.
Much better high-end content, harmonic response is just so much better, and I get far more sustain out of the pedal with little noise floor. Great job, Fortin!

Wow
The lower string in 7/8 str guitars or downtuned can be a bit muddy: not with this beast
Frequently asked Questions
Does Fredrik use the 33?
Oh yes, he has it in his studio and his live rig!
Are the regular 33 and the Mini the same?
They are, the only difference is the physical size!
What do the switch and the Jack on the side do?
We think that you may only want to use the 33 on only one channel of your amp. All you have to do is plug a cable from the side jack to the channel changer on the your amp, and when you turn the 33 on or off the channel on your amp will change. The switch is to change the polarity so you can decide which channel you want to have the 33 on!
